Mid-Level DevSecOps Engineer – Infrastructure Automation and Containerization

As a Mid-Level DevSecOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a forward-thinking organization committed to modernizing production practices by strengthening collaboration between Development and Operations teams across Paris and Porto. You will support and coach the local Ops team to enhance automation skills, streamline deployments, and facilitate seamless integration with development efforts, enabling continuous innovation and efficiency.

Your main responsibilities:

• Coach and train Operations teams on Infrastructure as Code, scripting, and modern DevOps practices.
• Own and improve release management and deployment pipelines using XL Deploy and XL Release.
• Maintain existing IIS/Windows VM infrastructure while driving the migration toward OpenShift (containerization).

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevSecOps, automation, or related fields.
• Strong scripting and automation skills in Python and PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with XL Deploy / XL Release.
• Solid Windows/IIS administration background.
• Practical experience with OpenShift (containers, images, pods).
• Strong coaching, communication, and remote collaboration skills; fluent English is required, French is a plus.
• Knowledge of C# to better understand existing applications is a bonus.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Additional certifications or experience in container orchestration or automation.
