As a Senior Murex Developer / Specialist, you will be working for our client within the Capital Markets and Regulatory IT sector. You will be instrumental in delivering cutting-edge enhancements and maintaining critical components of the Murex platform, supporting compliance, risk management, and automation initiatives. This is a unique chance to advance your career while transforming the future of financial technology.
Your main responsibilities:
- Implement evolutionary and corrective maintenance tasks across core Murex modules, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Collaborate on module integration, working with Datamart, MSL, and MXML Exchange for reporting, workflows, and data messaging.
- Write complex PL/SQL procedures, optimize Oracle SQL queries, and develop Shell/Python automation scripts to streamline operations.
- Develop and maintain XML, XSLT, and HTML transformations, and integrate SOAP web services for data exchange.
- Drive test automation, improve development pipelines, and manage source code within a Git environment.
- Participate actively in Agile sprint ceremonies, ensuring transparent communication and continuous knowledge sharing.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 8 years of experience in Murex development or capital markets IT projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Murex core modules: Datamart, MSL, MxML/Exchange.
- Strong command of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting languages like Shell and Python.
- Experience working with data transformation protocols such as XSLT, XML, HTML, and SOAP.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Fluent English language skills for effective communication.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Certifications or additional expertise in risk or regulatory compliance.
- Experience in Agile frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
Language required for the role: Fluent English.
