Senior Control-M Operations Team Lead – IT Infrastructure

As a Senior Control-M Operations Team Lead, you will be working for our client, a leader in IT infrastructure services, dedicated to ensuring seamless operational continuity and innovation. You will be instrumental in maintaining the operational health of critical batch processing environments, driving continuous improvement, and supporting high availability in a dynamic digital landscape.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead the operability and support of solutions within RUN OPEN, including CMDB updates, documentation, and vulnerability management.
• Define, schedule, and execute batch jobs via Control-M, ensuring real-time processing and monitoring.
• Respond efficiently to incidents such as abends, dependency anomalies, and SLA breaches, including incident recovery.
• Manage file transfers, monitor system resources, and trigger interventions to optimize performance.
• Provide expert technical support to application teams, contributing to go-lives and process improvements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive operational procedures and reports on system performance and availability.
• Collaborate with project teams to build integrated solutions, ensuring DevOps best practices and standards are upheld.
• Participate in outside business-hour interventions and scheduled operational activities, supporting continuous operational excellence.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT operations, particularly in batch processing and control systems.
• Strong expertise in Control-M or similar workload automation tools.
• Experience in incident management, system monitoring, and operational support.
• Proven ability to manage and optimize complex processing chains efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in French is highly desirable.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Certifications or additional training in Control-M or ITIL frameworks.
• Experience with CMDB management or vulnerability assessments.
• Knowledge of scripting or automation tools related to batch processing.

Language Required for the role:
Communicative level in English and French.
