Senior IT Finance Support Lead – Technical & DevOps Expert

Lisbon-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 3 days remote per week).

As a Senior IT Finance Support Lead, you will be working for a prominent banking group, driving technical excellence and DevOps practices within the finance support ecosystem. Your expertise will shape innovative solutions that enhance system reliability, security, and performance, supporting the organization’s digital transformation journey.

Your main responsibilities:

• Serve as the technical and DevOps reference for support and C2C teams, guiding best practices and technical decisions.
• Lead development activities and coordinate the competence centers, promoting skill development, code standards, and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to system reliability by analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving technical anomalies efficiently.
• Support the implementation of the technical strategy, ensuring security, resilience, and compliance are integrated into delivery processes.
• Collaborate with production engineers to enhance CI/CD pipelines, manage the software factory, and oversee release cycles.
• Participate in projects to address technical obsolescence and introduce innovative new technologies.
• Stay abreast of emerging technological trends, actively contributing to standards and innovation initiatives within the IT department.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 5+ years of development and technical leadership experience.
• Proven expertise as a technical referent in complex IT environments.
• Strong proficiency in Java (8/11, Spring), C#/.NET, SQL Server, Spark, Angular, and React.
• Deep understanding of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, Git, Docker/Kubernetes, SonarQube.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, APIs, hybrid cloud solutions, and Big Data technologies like Spark and Kafka.
• Experience in the banking sector or CIB environment is a plus.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate contributions across multiple stakeholders.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with application urbanization and information system modeling.
• Certifications related to DevOps or cloud architectures.

Language Required for the role:

• Communicative proficiency in English and French—both oral and written.
