This is a remote role with an on-site presence for essential client workshops
As an Agile Coach, you will work for our Client – a bank leader in investment products in Europe. As part of this project, you will play a critical role in translating all business processes from different business areas and the engineering team. Your input will directly impact the way the new software will be built and all the core functionalities it will support.
Your main responsibilities: create an agile organization:
- Instruct basics of Agile tools, like Scrum and Kanban to the teams
- Setup regular rituals for measuring to improve communication and implement new ways of working
- Assist scrum masters with meeting pre-planning, scheduling, daily scrum, and review.
- Address team member questions
- Assist Product Owners in crafting user stories
- Mentor Product Owners in prioritization of user stories
- Mentor Product Owners in daily decisions to keep the project in motion
- Empower managers to partner with business stakeholders and make more strategic decisions
- Improve collaboration between teams
- Apply system thinking to uncover bottlenecks
- Identify project risks
- Identify relevant metrics and define the value measurement system
- Cultivate an Agile mindset in order to start a self-sustainable momentum for transformation and continuous improvement
- Formulating governance policies in view of the organization’s principles to support Agile-based approaches
- Integrate related methodologies within the company
- Develop standards and requirements for the Agile methodology
- Provide training to employees on the Agile methodology
You’re ideal for the role if you have:
- Ideally 2+ experience as an Agile or Lean Management coach
- Experience as a Scrum Master or as a Project Manager applying the Agile methodology
- Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, SAFe and/or Design Thinking
- Knowledge of Agile software development
- Interpersonal skills and patience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Supervising skills
- Be open-minded
- Be a team player
- Critical thinking from outside of each challenge
- University degree
