Data Engineer IBM Informatica

Provide key information to business lines

This is a hybrid role, 2x in the office in Porto and 3x from home

As a Data Engineer, you will be working for Client – a world leader in corporate and investment banking. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining data solutions that provide key information to global trading teams

Your main responsibilities: Develop data solutions

• Support the development, maintenance and testing of several components
• Gather, document, examine and manage application requirements in an Agile environment
• Think critically about existing processes and suggest new ideas and improvements, especially in the performance field.
• Develop new solutions within the technology stacks available to the team such as IBM Informatica
• Manage incidents/problems occurring in the environments of production in collaboration with other teams
• Participate in the detection and analysis of anomalies occurring in non-production environments

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Experience with Big Data and NoSQL Technology
• Experienced with Big Data ETL tools 
• Experience with Oracle/SQL
• Optimization and performance improvement experience will be a plus 
• Knowledge of programming languages Python and/or Spark
• Familiarity with DevOps concepts
• Experience with GIT
• Build – XL Release
• Deploy – XL Deploy
• Good English Skills (B2)
