As an Application Production Engineer, you will be working for our client in the financial technology industry, supporting cutting-edge e/mBanking applications. You will help ensure operational stability, seamless deployment, and ongoing maintenance of critical banking services, playing a vital role in the digital transformation journey and delivering impactful customer solutions.
Your main responsibilities:
- Ensure day-to-day RUN / MCO support for e/mBanking applications and related APIs, maintaining high service availability.
- Diagnose incidents swiftly and coordinate technical resolution across support and development teams.
- Execute deployments, releases, and configuration changes utilizing XL Deploy, XL Release, Jenkins, and CI/CD tools.
- Support application runtimes across Linux and Windows environments, enhancing operational reliability.
- Contribute to maintaining production stability and operational improvements by updating documentation and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with technical leads and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure continuous service during operational events.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 2 years of experience in application production support or RUN environments.
- Good understanding of Apache, Tomcat, Docker, and API-based application landscapes.
- Hands-on experience with deployment and release tools such as XL Deploy, XL Release, Jenkins, or similar.
- Solid knowledge of Linux environments, with working familiarity with Windows.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose complex production incidents.
- Ability to work across multiple technologies and support teams effectively.
- Fluent English communication skills (communicative level).
It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)
- Exposure to private cloud or Azure environments.
- Basic scripting or automation skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Experience with monitoring or observability tools.
- Knowledge of application migration or transformation contexts.
- French language skills is a plus.
