As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the banking sector, dedicated to transforming financial services through innovative strategic projects. You will help shape and optimize complex banking processes, ensuring alignment between business requirements and technical solutions, while leveraging your expertise in Agile methodologies to drive continuous delivery and improvement.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead requirements gathering sessions and workshops to capture comprehensive business needs within a complex banking environment.
• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to ensure requirements are well understood and deliverable.
• Analyze existing business processes, identifying inefficiencies and proposing actionable improvements.
• Draft and review functional and technical documentation to support development, testing, and deployment.
• Manage test case design, validation, and execution to ensure quality and compliance with business objectives.
• Apply SQL and basic data querying skills to validate data quality and support requirements analysis.
• Facilitate communication and alignment among diverse teams through clear documentation and stakeholder management.
• Support system parametrization and configuration activities as part of change initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to Agile principles, prioritizing backlogged items based on value, risk, and dependencies.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst within the banking or financial services sector.
• Proven expertise in requirements analysis, functional specs, user stories, and testing documentation.
• Solid understanding of SQL queries, database models, and technical architecture fundamentals.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate effectively in English and French (B2/C1 level preferred).
• Experience working in Agile environments, with tools such as Jira or similar.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and operational risk management in banking.
• Autonomous, proactive, and able to operate effectively in a dynamic setting.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience in the banking industry with system parametrization and configuration.
• Knowledge of banking products, processes, and integration points.
• Certifications in Agile, Business Analysis, or project management.

Language Required for the role:

• English (good command)
• French (B2 level or higher)
