Senior Business Analyst & SQL Specialist – French Language

As a Senior Business Analyst & SQL Specialist, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the financial services industry, committed to delivering innovative solutions that streamline processes and elevate data-driven decision-making. Your expertise will enhance the client’s ability to transform raw data into actionable insights, driving impactful business outcomes and fostering continuous growth.

Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into precise functional specifications.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, analyze, and troubleshoot critical business data.
• Analyze existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose targeted improvements to streamline workflows.
• Participate in testing phases, validate data accuracy, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation, including specifications, use cases, and user guides in French.
• Support deployment activities and provide functional support to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
• Communicate effectively with French-speaking teams and lead meetings to facilitate project progress.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 8+ years of experience as a Business or Functional Analyst with a focus on data analysis.
• Proven hands-on proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis (including complex joins, subqueries, filters).
• Excellent command of English (fluent) and French (B2 level or higher).
• Strong ability to translate business challenges into technical specifications and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience working in the finance or banking industry.
• Ability to lead meetings and create detailed, clear documentation in French.
• Knowledge of process mapping and process improvement methodologies.

Language Required for the role :
English (Fluent), French (B2 level minimum)
