Senior Data Engineer - Informatica PowerCenter / Data Masking

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading banking group, within the Data & Analytics team. You will contribute to the development, maintenance and modernization of enterprise data integration solutions, with a strong focus on data masking to protect sensitive information across environments.

Your main responsibilities:

• Design, develop, maintain and enhance data integration workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Design, develop, maintain and enhance data masking workflows using Informatica PowerCenter or TDM.
• Support the implementation and evolution of Data Masking solutions to protect sensitive data across environments.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex ETL workflows, mappings, sessions and data integration processes.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize workflows processing high volumes of data.
• Contribute to Data Quality initiatives, including validation rules, data controls, monitoring and remediation.
• Investigate production incidents and perform root-cause analysis on data integration issues.
• Participate in deployment and industrialization activities across dev, test and production environments.
• Produce and maintain clear technical documentation.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 6+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, ETL or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter, including data masking, sessions, transformations, parameterization and error handling.
• Proven experience troubleshooting and optimizing ETL processes handling large datasets.
• Strong SQL skills and a good understanding of relational databases.
• Good communication skills in English.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Informatica IDMC/CDI experience, PowerCenter-to-IDMC migration, CI/CD, Python or Shell scripting, and working in Agile environments.

Language required for the role:

• Fluent English.
