As a Senior Data-Focused Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading player in financial services, dedicated to transforming lease application processes through innovative data solutions. Join a dynamic team shaping the future of finance by translating complex data and business needs into actionable insights and streamlined workflows.

Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborate with French business units to gather requirements, design "to-be" process workflows, and create detailed functional specifications in French.
• Write autonomous SQL queries (SELECTs, JOINs, subqueries) to extract, analyze, and validate data during feature testing and troubleshooting.
• Analyze existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and define optimized models to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Support testing activities, coordinate UAT, and assist during software deployment to ensure smooth rollout and quality assurance.
• Document requirements, use cases, and user guides to facilitate clear communication across technical and business teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues by analyzing data flows and verifying data consistency with strong SQL skills.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing process performance and recommending optimizations.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or data-oriented IT consultant.
• Strong hands-on SQL skills for data extraction, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and functional documentation.
• Fluent in English with professional working proficiency in French (B2 minimum) for communication and documentation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience working in financial services or lease application domains.
• Knowledge of process modeling tools or methodologies.

Language required for the role:

• French (minimum B2 level) for documentation and stakeholder interactions.
• Fluent English is mandatory.
