Senior Developer Fullstack (Backend focus)

As a Senior Fullstack Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the financial technology industry, within the FO2BO team. You will design and develop Java applications based on client requirements, with a strong focus on backend architecture and REST API design.

Your main responsibilities:

• Design and develop Java applications based on client requirements.
• Design and build REST APIs using Spring.
• Work collaboratively with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
• Ensure the overall architecture and design quality of the application.
• Identify and resolve technical issues across the stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 8+ years of experience in design and development in a full stack environment, with a degree from a technical institute, university or college.
• Strong experience with Java frameworks: Spring, JPA and Hibernate.
• Experience with REST interfaces and Swagger documentation.
• Experience with the development toolchain: Maven, Git, VSCode, Sonar, VeraCode.
• Experience with continuous integration: Jenkins, Docker, OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Proven experience in Core Java, OOP concepts, Spring Boot, collections, Multithreading and Microservices.
• Strong hands-on experience with Angular 2+.
• Strong teamwork, flexibility and customer focus.

Language required for the role:

• Fluent English.
