Senior Electronic Trading Support Specialist – Financial Platforms

As a Senior Electronic Trading Support Specialist – Financial Platforms, you will be working for our client, a leader in the financial technology industry dedicated to enhancing electronic trading infrastructures. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless, efficient, and secure electronic trading operations, helping our client revolutionize how trading is conducted across markets. Your main responsibilities:

• Support electronic trading platforms (OMS / EMS) in a Level 2 / Level 3 functional support capacity.
• Handle incidents related to order creation, routing, execution, modification, and cancellation.
• Act as a functional point of contact for traders, trading support, and operations teams.
• Investigate and resolve functional issues impacting electronic execution and trading workflows.
• Perform root cause analysis and coordinate resolutions with IT teams and external vendors.
• Monitor trading activity during market hours and support time-critical production incidents.
• Support functional testing for platform upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.
• Participate in UAT from a trading and execution perspective.
• Maintain functional documentation, runbooks, and support procedures.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Proven experience working with electronic trading platforms in support or operational roles (minimum 2 years).
• Strong understanding of electronic trading workflows and order lifecycles.
• Hands-on experience supporting front-office or trading environments.
• Good knowledge of financial instruments such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, or FX.
• Experience working in time-critical, production trading environments.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both business users and technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Good command of English (fluent, at least B2 level).

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Certification or experience in financial market support or related areas.
• Knowledge of specific trading systems or vendor solutions.
