Senior Java Developer – Spring Boot and Kafka Expert

As a Senior Java Developer – Spring Boot and Kafka Expert, you will be working for our client, a leading innovator in enterprise software solutions. You will play a key role in maintaining and evolving critical application suites, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams. Your main responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance complex application suites to meet evolving business needs.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, reliable code adhering to best practices.
• Collaborate with Application Managers, Project Managers, and Solution Teams to identify requirements and implement solutions.
• Interact with external entities such as CAGIP and Design Authority to align project standards.
• Follow Agile methodologies and participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
• Engage with cutting-edge technologies such as Kafka, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Unix environments.
• Contribute to technical documentation and specifications to facilitate clear communication and efficient development.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Over 4 years of experience in Java development, with proficiency in Java 8+ and Spring frameworks.
• Strong expertise in Kafka, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
• Experience working with Unix/Linux systems.
• Familiarity with Angular (version > 8), Apache servers, Tomcat, and ElasticSearch.
• Solid understanding of version control (GitLab), build tools (Maven), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins).
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to write clear technical specifications.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with cloud platforms or microservices architecture.
• Certifications related to Java, Spring, or DevOps practices.

Language Required for the role:

• Communicative English (fluent and clear communication skills).
