As a Senior .NET Software Engineer – Cloud-Native & AI Integration, you will be working for our client, a leader in developing high-performance, event-driven ecosystems for the financial industry. Join a global team driving innovation by migrating to .NET 8 and embedding Generative AI (LLMs) into cutting-edge solutions, shaping the next era of intelligent, scalable systems.

Your main responsibilities:

• Design and implement high-performance microservices using .NET 8 with a focus on scalability, performance, and clean architecture.
• Develop asynchronous workflows leveraging AWS SNS/SQS, ensuring system resilience and data integrity.
• Lead AI integration initiatives by bridging .NET backends with Python-based LLM AI models, facilitating seamless AI-driven features.
• Collaborate on designing high-throughput data pipelines using AWS Data Firehose and Data Streams for real-time data processing.
• Maintain high standards of code quality through rigorous testing with xUnit and WireMock, supporting smooth migrations and updates.
• Work closely with SRE teams to deploy services via GitHub Actions and manage infrastructure with Terraform.
• Utilize modern tools like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT to accelerate development while safeguarding code security and efficiency.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 6 years of proven experience in software development, with deep expertise in C# and .NET Core / .NET 8.
• Hands-on experience working with AWS native services such as SNS, SQS, S3, and ECS.
• Strong understanding of Distributed Systems and Event-Driven Architecture (Pub/Sub, Idempotency).
• Proven experience with Redis or similar caching solutions for state management and performance optimization.
• Curiosity or experience working with LLMs, Python, or AI integrations—especially with OpenAI or Anthropic APIs.
• A test-first mindset with experience in unit and integration testing.
• Familiarity with Docker, GitHub Actions, and Terraform for DevOps practices.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience building RAG systems or working closely with AI models.
• Certifications in cloud computing or software engineering.
• Experience with data engineering workflows and high-throughput pipeline design.

Language required for the role:
Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.
