Senior Summit Platform Support Engineer – Financial Services

As a Senior Summit Platform Support Engineer, you will be working for our client in the financial services sector, providing technical support to ensure the optimal functioning of the Summit platform and related systems. You will help maintain system stability, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate closely with business users and functional teams to uphold operational excellence within the front and back-office financial activities. Your main responsibilities:

• Provide functional and technical support for the Summit platform, including system monitoring and issue resolution.
• Perform log analysis, flow analysis, and research to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.
• Assist the functional team with technical tasks, ensuring smooth workflow between systems like Control-M, Linux, and SQL.
• Maintain system documentation and support knowledge sharing within the team.
• Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Conduct troubleshooting for system failures or anomalies, ensuring minimal downtime in live environments.
• Support system upgrades or changes in a controlled, compliant manner.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial back-office or front-office systems support.
• Proficiency in SQL (more than 1 year of hands-on experience).
• Experience supporting Summit and Control-M platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments.
• Solid understanding of financial markets and processes.
• Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Background in financial markets.
• Additional certifications related to system support or finance.

Language Required for the role:

• Fluent English (good command).
