Windows System Administrator

Join us to contribute to critical Windows-based systems in the financial sector.

This is a Porto-based hybrid opportunity – 3x from home per week

As a Server Admin, you will work for our client – a major financial group, and contribute to the stability, security, and performance of critical Windows-based systems. We are dedicated to ensuring the seamless operation of the bank’s IT infrastructure, supporting various crucial technical components that drive the bank’s activities

Your main responsibilities:

• Maintain x86 hardware and software from Cisco, HP, DELL, LENOVO
• Solve hardware issues promptly
• Enhance x86 infrastructure reliability
• Assist in continuity solutions and backups
• Document configurations and support instructions
• Engage in x86 evolution studies and design
• Support platform construction, installation, configuration
• Analyze and fix hardware incidents
• Ensure service quality aligns with SLAs
• Implement effective system practices
• Participate in industrialization and automation

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• 3+ years of experience as a junior System Administrator – preferably in finance
• Understands ITIL principles and works well in ITIL environments
• Excels in problem-solving and communication
• Adaptable in fast-paced settings
• Proficient in Datacenter Infrastructure
• Skilled in Cisco, HP, DELL, and LENOVO hardware
• Bonus: PowerShell skills
• English: B2 
• Displays teamwork and a willingness to learn
