Network Engineer – IT Infrastructure

This is a hybrid opportunity based in Lisbon, with 2-3 days from home per week.

As a Network Engineer, you will ensure the robustness and security of our client’s network infrastructures. You will lead the design, implementation, and management of network and telecommunications systems, implementing continuous improvements.

Your main responsibilities:

• Architect and manage network infrastructure
• Implement and maintain processes and procedures
• Audit and monitor technology
• Support maintenance teams
• Define and monitor performance objectives
• Manage and interact with external suppliers

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Degree or master’s in Computer Engineering, IT Management, or similar
• 5+ years of experience in network infrastructure and project management
• Strong vision and strategy for network security
• Expertise in core and emerging infrastructure technologies
• Focus on delivering services to clients
• Knowledge/certifications in: Huawei Switching/Routing, NCE Huawei, Huawei/Aruba Wireless, Cisco Switching/Routing and ACI, iSCSI Networks, Huawei ClearPass and NAC, Peplink Load Balancers, Palo Alto and CheckPoint Firewalls, VMware, LAN/WAN/VxLAN Networks
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience in global, dynamic environments
• Organizational skills, responsibility, commitment, and team leadership
