As a Senior Informatica PowerCenter Data Integration Specialist, you will be working for our client, a leading financial services organization. You will help design, develop, and optimize complex ETL solutions that support critical leasing and banking processes. Your main responsibilities:
- Analyze complex functional and technical requirements provided by business teams and Business Analysts to design scalable data architectures.
- Create detailed technical specifications and data flow diagrams for end-to-end ETL processes.
- Develop, test, and deploy high-performance ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter, ensuring optimal processing and data quality.
- Integrate heterogeneous data sources—including relational databases, flat files, APIs, XML/JSON, and cloud environments—into consolidated data warehouses.
- Perform performance tuning on ETL pipelines, optimize SQL queries, and troubleshoot complex production incidents to ensure system resilience.
- Implement data governance practices, maintain operational documentation, and automate scheduling processes with workload automation tools.
- Serve as the technical reference and mentor for the Porto engineering team, conducting code reviews and championing best practices.
- Ensure compliance with data security, masking, and access control policies across all data processes.
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 7+ years of proven experience as a Data Engineer / ETL Developer.
- Deep expertise with Informatica PowerCenter (Design, Workflow Manager, Repository Manager).
- Strong SQL and database experience with Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency in Shell scripting for automation and orchestration.
- Solid understanding of Data Warehousing methodologies, including star and snowflake schemas.
- Experience integrating multiple heterogeneous sources and optimizing ETL workflows.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with Informatica Cloud (IICS), Data Quality (IDQ), or MDM.
- Hands-on knowledge of modern programming languages such as Python, Scala, Java, or Spark.
- Cloud platform exposure such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or Snowflake.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and DevOps tools like Jenkins or AutoSys.
- Agile methodologies experience, especially Scrum or Kanban.
